Artists and musicians worked together to entertain the audience at Red Raven Saturday night. While singer-songwriters Tony Peterson and Dakota Chaser each played one-hour sets of their original, artists Nick Early and Mark Gaviglio turned the music into a piece of art, using inspiration from the music to create a painting.
Peterson’s strong lyrics about everything from falling in and out of love to religion and strippers led to a dark abstract piece with a touch of sunshine.
Dakota Chaser’s upbeat and fun songs inspired Gaviglio’s colorful interpretive finger painting and illustration.
