The National Weather Service has lowered the expected crest to 37 feet, but the Fargo-Moorhead community is still working to prepare for major flooding. Major flood stage is 30 feet and the Red River was at 29 feet on Sunday. The water is expected to rise to 37 feet by Wednesday.
